MY STORY: HOW AND WHY I BECAME THE MINGLE MASTER
*Do you avoid social situations because you feel like you don’t know what to say?
*Are you ready to stop faking and show people who you really are?
*Are you tired of noticing great looking people and wishing you could have a chance with them?
*Do you wonder how great you would be at your job if you could only improve your public speaking and networking skills?
*Do you wish you knew how to communicate with class in both digital and real situations?
Many years ago that was me. If the answer to any of these questions is "yes" for you now, then you have come to the right place. Maybe you have already done some research on the internet, or listened to your friends in the locker room talking about using creepy pick up lines and manipulation techniques to “game" people into liking you. And you’re telling yourself, it’s just not worth it. Well, there is another route that I am here to share with you - a way to mingle with success, but also with class.
Hi, I’m Doug - also known as The Mingle Master.
While it might not be obvious when you first look at me, I am a master of social skills. Not only have I overcome my old discomfort in social situations, I now thrive in them. I have come to love the art of mingling with class. My story goes back to my high school and early college days when I was not so sure of myself around people. In fact, I was the quiet, serious, focused guy who never did anything outrageous and hardly ever talked to strangers.
That all started to change about half way through college when a series of unexpected, last second events left me living by myself with no choice but to get out and socialize. Also, about that same time, I started forcing myself to take public speaking classes, knowing that I would probably need that skill for whatever job I would eventually do. As a result, my social comfort and ability began to grow. I began to get comfortable and confident around people, no matter what the situation was. I turned my focus toward the study of social success.
The good news is that you don't have to take years and years to improve your social skills like I did. I have dedicated a lot of time to studying exactly what it takes to be successful in any kind of social situation imaginable - at work, at school, and in general social situations. With my help, you can do it too.
And the best part?
You can do all this while keeping your class intact. Men- no more feeling like you have to be a jerk to do well with women. No more being worried about what people think about you in social situations. No more shying away from presentations, networking, and talking to strangers at work. And on and on.
Don't waste another day. Let's get you ready to mingle.

WHAT INSPIRED ME TO CREAT THIS SITE?
A few years ago a friend of mine was going through a divorce. This friend had met his former wife online, and his social skills were terrible. He actually even had trouble talking to strangers who were men, much less women. He would look straight down at the ground when he was in public, uncomfortable even making eye contact with people. Now, this is a quality, educated guy with good character that I am talking about, but he just could not find any comfort whatsoever in social situations of any kind. So, at his request, I decided to develop a plan to help him improve his social skills so that he could learn to be comfortable in social situations of all kinds, with an emphasis on dating.
Now, I am not claiming to be some naturally gifted social genius. Far from it. I would describe my social skills when we began the study as average to slightly above average. My gift, however, is problem solving. I was sure that there were secrets out there to having great social skills, so I set out to discover them. I was so happy with the results of my study and his resulting improvement, that I decided to make a website devoted to helping others improve their social skills in a similar way.

THE PROBLEM
Nearly everyone on the planet could better their lives with improvement in dating and/or social skills. Some need dramatic improvement.
THE SOLUTION
This is why I started this site. I will not rest until everyone who wants to be a master of dating and/or social skills can do it.

Definition of the word "mingle"
The definition of a "mingle" is very important so that we know what we are talking about here:
Definition of a mingle: any social situation from which you can benefit.
Examples of mingling situations:
*Dating
*Job Interviews
*Party/Social Gatherings
*Public Speaking
*Waiting Tables
*Phone calls
*And much more...
So, as you can tell, I am talking about much more than just dating. Dating situations are an important part of my discussion, but good social skills are needed for so much more. It is hard to get through a day without needing social skills in one way or other. This site is written generally for men, but many of the ideas that I talk about can apply to women as well.
