I am a regular networker in the Greenville, South Carolina area and I have made a list of my top 10 events. Please reach out if you have any questions. (Updated September, 2022)

◾️Biz Fuel - A networking group that hosts 3 events: an after hours event, morning event, and cigar night. 
​
◾️Business After Hours | Coffee and Connections (with the Greenville Chamber) - Always well attended and well run.​​
​
◾️Business & Brews - General networking usually including a 10-15 minute presentation by a local community leader. 

◾️Business on Tap - General networking hosted by the Upstate Business Journal 
 

◾️Cigars and Business Cards - A monthly event at Boda Pipes in Greenville.  

◾️Flywheel Cafe - A regular networking group that has a speaker and a focus on helping entrepreneurs and startups.

◾️GVL Connect - Hosted by Tangible Strategies. Usually meets quarterly at Venture X

◾️Ignite Greer - Hosted by The Platform at Greer at The Davenport. Two local business leaders give short presentations to discuss challenges and seek feedback from the local business community. 

◾️PNC After Hours - A monthly event hosted by Professional Network Connections that is open to the public. 

◾️Tech After Five - An event for tech professionals and tech supporters in Greenville as well as some other cities in SC and NC. The gold standard of networking events. 


OTHER EVENTS OF INTEREST

 ◾️​Collaborators and Cocktails - This is an event hosted by the Endeavor workspace. There is networking and a presenter, usually connected to the advertising world. 

◾️TedX Greenville - Usually includes one or two speakers and a chance for networking before and after the event. 

◾️UWITSC.com - Stands for Upstate Women in Technology. I have not been to this one but I've heard it's good. Also heard that men are welcome too

◾️Rotary Club lunch. Have to be a member but can get in for free if you know a member. Usually a speaker.

◾️New business Ribbon Cuttings - usually connected to the Greenville and other local Chambers - an underrated location for networking. I search every Chamber event list in the area for events. 


WEBSITES 

*I usually check these websites and events every weekend to plan what I am going to attend for the upcoming week.

◾️gvltoday.6amcity.com - Their website is good but what you REALLY want to do is get on their daily email list. They have events and other things listed for the day. There is a link to sign up on the site. If I could just give you one thing, this would be it. I read it every morning.

◾️eventbright.com - I search "greenville" every weekend to find any events for the upcoming week. My #1 source for events

◾️Facebook.com events section - I usually search the events section once a week to see whats coming up

◾️Greenville Young Professionals Facebook page. Even if you aren't young or professional, there is often discussion about jobs and events in the area. facebook.com/groups/GreenvilleYoungProfessionals/

◾️Spartanburg Young Professionals Facebook page. Often have good events. facebook.com/SpartanburgYP/
